Past Festivals

Emerging Artists Theatre’s Spring 2024 Spark Theatre Festival NYC ran from March 4 to 24, 2024, at the 28th Street Theater in the Flatiron district of New York City. Nearly 60 performances will be presented across three weeks, including plays, musicals, one-person shows, dance, alternative art forms.

Fall of 2023 marked the 30th anniversary of Emerging Artists Theatre, and to commorate the occasion, EAT rebranded and renamed our popular “New Work Series” to the “Spark Theatre Festival NYC. Below are links to the programs from the New Work Series before our renaming.

EMERGING ARTISTS THEATRE is an incubator for artistic voices from the page to the stage. EAT was founded more than 30 years ago to provide a dynamic home for playwrights and performing artists to explore their work from the first spark of imagination, through development, and toward full artistic realization in our twice-yearly Spark Theatre Festival, NYC.
