ARTCOOP:
A Future Home for Emerging Theatre in NYC

For more than 33 years, Emerging Artists Theatre has supported emerging playwrights, composers, choreographers, and theatre-makers. Now, we are working toward something transformational: ARTCOOP, a permanent performing arts center designed to give small theatre and dance companies an affordable, sustainable home in New York City.

ARTCOOP would provide performance spaces, rehearsal rooms, shared offices, and long-term support for the artists and companies that keep New York theatre alive.

This is a time-sensitive opportunity to help preserve and expand space for emerging artists, diverse voices, and bold new work.
